The Materials contained on the PQI websites are provided for educational and information purposes only. PQI is an organization that was formed to increase the effectiveness of perinatal quality improvement efforts, enhance communication and collaboration among perinatal quality improvement leaders, disseminating the lessons learned from morbidity and mortality reviews, and supporting the development and implementation of customized action plans that are designed to improve perinatal outcomes. The PQI materials are designed for use by healthcare professionals. The PQI materials or content are not a substitute for professional medical advice and treatment or consultation with qualified physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding your individual health needs. We encourage you to take note of the date of publication provided on all of our documents. When you sign up to take part in events, submit photographs or video, participate in online discussions or message boards or communities, or purchase products, you will be asked to create an account and provide a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and agree to accept responsibility for all for all activities that occur under your account or password.
When you communicate with PQI in any way, you may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or mislead as to the origin of your communication. The Institute for Perinatal Quality Improvement (PQI) takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content represented by you or any third party.
USING the PQI SITES and SUBMITTING USER MATERIALS
At the PQI sites, you may post, upload, transmit ("Submit") comments, messages, text, photographs, videos, or other content and materials ("User Materials") and information about quality improvement (QI) initiatives. When you Submit any User Materials or information about QI initiatives, you represent that such User Materials are unique to you or are used with permission of the copyright holder and you have received the permission of any person appearing in the photograph or video. However, by submitting the User Materials to the PQI Sites, you hereby grant to PQI a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license to copy, transmit, modify, display and otherwise use the User Materials in any and all media in the sole discretion of PQI in support of its mission and its fundraising efforts.
User Materials submitted by users to the PQI sites are the sole responsibility of the person who posts them and any opinions or views expressed are those of the individual user or organization they represent. You understand that you may be exposed to User Materials that may be offensive, indecent or objectionable.
PQI does not control any User Materials, is not responsible for their accuracy, and is not liable in any way for such User Materials. However, PQI reserves the right in its sole discretion to 1) edit or delete any User Materials submitted to or appearing on the PQI sites, and 2) refuse access to the PQI Sites to any user.
