PQI Welcomes New Advisory Board Members

PQI is very happy to announce the addition of four new Advisory Board members, two for the Executive and two for the Editorial Advisory Boards.
The new Executive Advisory Board members are:
Brian Bateman, MD, MSc, Chief of the Division of Obstetric Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Associate Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School
Peter S. Bernstein, MD, MPH, Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division Director and Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center
The new Editorial Advisory Board members are:
Kelley Bowden, MS, RN, Perinatal Outreach Nurse Educator for the state of Maine. Kelley currently serves as the Maine Section Chair for the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses
LaShea Wattie, M.Ed., MSN, RNC, C-EFM, Perinatal Nurse Practice Specialist in the L&D/Antepartum, Mother/Baby & Women's Unit at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. LaShea has served two terms as the Georgia Section Chair for the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses
We look forward to working together with our new and existing Advisory Board members to expand the use of improvement science in order to eliminate preventable injuries and deaths for new moms and babies.
