Implementing PQI Conference Held in Dallas
Sunday, October 13, 2019
An Implementing Perinatal Quality Improvement Conference was held on October 11, 2019, in the Fogelson Auditorium at Texas Health in Dallas, Texas.
The Institute for Perinatal Quality Improvement's conference was hosted by Texas EMS, Trauma & Acute Care Foundation (TETAF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Austin, and drew 160 attendees.
Implementing Perinatal Quality Improvement conferences are designed to support learners in drafting context-specific perinatal quality improvement and safety action plans that they will immediately begin to implement. This is the fourth Implementing Perinatal Quality Conference held and, to date, nearly 400 perinatal clinicians have expanded their QI expertise by attending the conference.
Expanding the use of improvement science is how PQI is working to eliminate preventable perinatal mortality and morbidity and eliminate perinatal disparities.
