HIMSS and ANI Honor Catherine Ivory, PQI Editorial Advisory Board Member

HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society), in connection with their annual conference HIMSS18, and along with the Alliance for Nursing Informatics, have named Catherine Ivory the 2018 recipient of the HIMSS-ANI Nursing Informatics Leadership Award. The Institute for Perinatal Quality Improvement (PQI) wishes to extend our congratulations to Dr. Ivory for this significant achievement.
Dr. Ivory received the award at the HIMSS18 Awards Gala in Las Vegas on March 8, 2018.
HIMSS and ANI present this award to one individual who, in the judgment of the HIMSS North America Board of Directors, has demonstrated significant leadership in the area of nursing informatics within the society and the healthcare community.
HIMSS said that "Catherine Ivory, throughout her career, has demonstrated her commitment to helping cultivate the next generation of nurse informaticists."
Dr. Ivory is a board-certified informatics nurse and holds a secondary appointment to the Vanderbilt Department of Biomedical Informatics in the School of Medicine. She now serves as the associate chief nurse executive and vice president of professional practice and care transformation at Indiana University Health.
Dr. Ivory also currently serves as a member of PQI's Editorial Advisory Board.
