Dr. Rhoads is a telemedicine/telehealth researcher and educator, emphasizing the human impact of technologies on health care provider roles and patient-centered care. Dr. Rhoads has implemented numerous telehealth programs and has conducted multiple telehealth research initiatives with rural providers and patients. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine and is the Education Director for the Center for Distance Health.
